CONFERENCES & MEETINGS

BT Murrayfield is the perfect choice for conferences & meetings.  We are one of the few venues in Edinburgh that can offer large flexible conference spaces close to numerous break out rooms with audio visual, free wifi, free parking and full onsite conference catering – and now with our own tram station, connecting the stadium to Edinburgh Airport and the nearby City Centre.

We can accommodate theatre style for up to 600 and cabaret for 400, with 16 smaller breakout suites for small groups of 10 up to 100.  For an extra special touch, the 10 Murrayfield Boxes overlook the pitch and can each take 14 boardroom.   They are popular with Conference organisers  looking for a quiet, luxurious space for guest speakers,  directors and other VIPs.

Make your event memorable with a track side arrival and your company name up on the large arena screens or arrange a tour for your delegates to the Scotland Team Changing Rooms and players tunnel.

Located within the famous West Stand at BT Murrayfield with its own private entrance, and clear signage on the stadium concourse.  Guests access the suite via an exclusive foyer with cloakroom facilities.

The suite can be set to cater private dinners or celebrations, drinks receptions, small conferences, networking events or weddings.  The suite has comprehensive AV equipment, a private bar & toilet facilities as well as tunnel access to the main stadium bowl, where guests can enjoy views of the famous BT Murrayfield stadium.

Murrayfield Boxes

Named after famous Scottish Rugby grounds, each of the Box has a floor to ceiling window with views of the famous Murrayfield pitch.  Boxes can be set up for a dinner, board meeting, informal buffet, interviews or drinks receptions.  They are ideal as breakout rooms as part of a larger conference or event, or to hire individually for a one-ff event or special occasion. 

Served by a central reception area to welcome and direct guests to their private box, as well as private toilets.  Each box has a small cloakroom to store bags & coats as well as a fridge and sink area for drinks/snacks.

Thistle & President's Suites

Both suites benefit from natural daylight and internal partitions allowing flexibility to host smaller conferences and meetings. With access to the Scotland Suites, breakout areas are available to facilitate all requirements. 

The Suites can be combined to cater for large Exhibitions, Drinks Receptions for up to 1,500 and Banqueting for up to 1,100 across the West Stand.  Add an extra wow factor and include a pitch-side drinks reception – with guests accessing the stadium via the players tunnel – perhaps with a bagpiper piping them in, creating a really special sense of arrival.

Scotland Suites

The Scotland Suites comprise of three dynamic and adaptable suites. The Macpherson Suite, Cap & Thistle and Moncreiff Suite benefit from modern fixtures and fittings having been central to our recent stadium developments.

Each suite is partitionable with a fully soundproof room divider providing us with the ability to create the perfect space for your event. The Suites work perfectly as breakout spaces for larger conferences but can also be used as the main plenary for smaller meetings and events. Each suite has a 75” plasma TV mounted to at least one wall.
